There are tests that some people do not care to perform on a regular basis, despite their importance for early detection of cardiovascular diseases, according to Dr. Jamal Shaaban, former dean of the National Heart Institute.

Shaaban said that measuring blood pressure is one of the medical tests that contribute to ensuring the health of the heart, in addition to:
– Blood sugar analysis.
– Analysis of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood.

He recommended performing these tests from time to time, and presenting their results to the doctor, while following the following instructions to reduce the risk of heart disease:
