Jakarta, Selular.ID – Dana opened training for active students in semester 5 and 6 to be given the opportunity to do internships for 6 months in technology companies developed by young Indonesians. For those who are selected, students can run an internship program from 23 August.
Agustina Samara, Dana’s Chief People & Corporate Strategy Officer explained, through the Danapprentice internship program. The funds support the Merdeka Campus program which is part of the ‘Freedom of Learning’ policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek) to bridge the needs of the industrial world and educational institutions.
“Registration for the Danapprentice program, explained Agustina, is open until July 30, 2021. “The Fund will select 50 students to be given the opportunity to do internships for 6 months,” said Agustina.
Furthermore, he revealed that the financial technology industry is part of the digital industry which will be the main supporter for the realization of Indonesia’s grand vision to become one of the biggest powers of the world’s digital economy by 2045. As for supporting the realization of this vision, the support of digital human resources with global competence is the main key.
“Danapprentice is held as a form of our responsibility as industry players to support the world of education in preparing and developing the competencies of future Indonesian financial technology industry talents,” said Agustina.
He added, through a knowledge transfer program that will be provided intensively by mentors and professionals in their fields, Danapprentice participants also get the opportunity to learn firsthand the various real challenges faced by the industry.
Dana provides two choices of fields that students who are interested in joining Danapprentice can take part in, respectively, Danapprentech, which is an internship program in the technology division and DanapprenBiz, which is an internship program in the business division.

Danapprentech participants have the opportunity to learn firsthand about back-end, front-end, Data and IT Security. Meanwhile, at DanapprenBiz students can learn directly from professionals who become mentors about business operations, products and how to develop innovation.
In addition to getting the opportunity to draw directly from experienced professionals, students who are members of the Danapprentice program will get pocket money every month, as well as work facilities such as laptops, email, antivirus software, and allowances for the internet. Participants who pass will receive a certificate from the Fund.
