Dr. Shawky Allam, the Grand Mufti of the Republic, said that the invitation to gather to pray and peace be upon our master the Prophet on Friday after the prayer is one of the good things that it is good to do and be careful about. to obtain the great reward in it; It is a practical application of a number of legal commands represented in the command to remember God Almighty, the command to pray for the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and the command to unite to do good and do righteous deeds in various forms and in all circumstances.
And he added: “The evidence came from the Holy Qur’an and the purified Sunnah, concerted in urging the gatherings of remembrance.”
And he continued: “And whoever accuses Muslims of doing that of heresy, he is closer to heresy, because he petrified wide and narrowed the matter for Muslims in which the Shari’a made them spacious.”
And Dar Al Iftaa had said that regarding the invitation to gather to pray for the Prophet on Friday, many important matters must be clarified in accordance with the tolerant regulations of Sharia.
1. Praying for the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, is one of the best remembrances, the closest acts of worship, and the greatest acts of worship.
2. Gathering on the legitimate dhikr is considered as cooperation in righteousness and piety.
3. The scholars stipulated the legitimacy of allocating a specific time or place for good deeds.
4. Remembrance of God Almighty and prayers upon His Prophet are among the absolute acts of worship that are originally legal without restriction. So it is valid in every form and situation at any time – except for what came to be forbidden – and it is also permissible secretly and publicly, individually and in groups, with every legitimate word and formula.
5. It has been quoted from scholars of Sharia law, whose sayings are reliable, that it is desirable to single out Friday and its night by praying a lot for our master Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace.

The Ministry of Awqaf determined the topic of the upcoming Friday sermon: entitled The Virtues of Prayers and Peace be upon the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace), and Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Juma, Minister of Awqaf stressed that, out of love and dignity for our master, the Messenger of God (may God bless him and grant him peace), the Ministry of Awqaf decided that the topic of the upcoming Friday sermon be : “The virtues of prayers and peace be upon the best of people, our Master Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace).”
And in practical application of the content of the sermon, it was decided that all mosques, after the Friday prayer on this day, chant and recite prayers and peace upon our master, the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him) for a period of three to five minutes, with the following formula: O God, bless our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad as you prayed for our master Ibrahim And upon the family of our master Ibrahim, and bless our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad as You blessed our master Ibrahim and the family of our master Ibrahim in the worlds. You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
