The importance of donating | DAILY THE STREET

During an act led by the president of the Chamber, Angel Giano; the Secretary of Culture, Francisca D’Agostino, and the deputy Gustavo Zavallo, gave an economic contribution to the musician Marcelo Arce, who will be in charge of recording a video clip with Fátima Heinze, head of the association “Someone like Yo Fq” , to raise awareness about organ donation.
The meeting took place in the Hall of Lost Steps of the Chamber of Deputies, in which they formalized an economic contribution to the project of the Gualeguay musician Marcelo Arce, with which he seeks to raise awareness about organ transplantation through a video clip about the history by Fátima Heinze.
Giano, president of the Chamber, highlighted the initiative of Arce and Heinze and mentioned that during his tenure as Minister of Health of Entre Ríos he worked a lot on the issue of organ donation together with the Unique Coordinating Center for Ablation and Implant of Entre Ríos ( CUCAIER).
In the same way, he made reference to the law of his authorship, which adhered to the Justina Law, which regulates, speeds up and simplifies the processes of organ, tissue and cell donation, and establishes that all people are donors, unless they have stated otherwise.
“Beyond the legislative activity, deputies and deputies accompany this type of actions to generate links with the community, raise awareness and contribute to continue demystifying about organ donation,” said Angel Giano.
During the event, D’Agostino highlighted that the musician has decided to give this message through his work: «Talking about this is a choice, the artist could make a song about anything, but he chooses to do this because it is necessary to continue raising awareness about organ donation ”. For his part, Deputy Zavallo, promoter of the initiative, thanked Giano for supporting this proposal and stressed that “it is important that the Chamber of Deputies have this approach of supporting culture and, in this case, also the cause. organ donation, beyond the specifically legislative task.
«This is a way of reaching a different audience through music and showing it from another place, with hope and with love. It is also a way of honoring health personnel who do an excellent job, “said Fatima Heinze, who recalled:” We can all need an organ transplant. Seven years ago I had a transplant and I was born again ».
