To this end, an agreement linking the municipality, the Blue Océan campsite and National Education has enabled young Ondrais schoolchildren to carry out this training for several years. It will now be necessary to combine this reality with the past, the campsite management having informed the municipal services on Tuesday September 5 that it would not honor the terms of the tripartite agreement.
“The Ondres put us in court”
In an email addressed to parents, the director of Blue Océan, Benjamin Souviraa, explains the reasons: “My team and I are delighted to contribute to the teaching of swimming, despite additional work. However, a few weeks after asking Blue Ocean to host this teaching again, the town hall summons the campsite employees to appear at the Dax Criminal Court on September 21 for harassment. In other words, through their representatives, the Ondres ask us to welcome their children, and at the same time put us in court. »
After taking note of this decision, Christine Vicente let her anger and bitterness burst forth: “We regret and we firmly condemn this situation. It is a real “hostage-taking” of our children, parents, teachers of nursery and primary schools, and of the entire population of Ondrais concerned. Today we express our anger at this situation, and call on each of us to mobilize. Because it is our children who suffer. And this is intolerable. »
