Scientists have recently focused on solar storms. The reason for this is that a strong solar storm may affect the earth and electrical currents in the next few years.
So much so that a recent study gives serious messages to humanity about the effects of the solar storm that occurred 14,300 years ago on the world.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS NOT ONE, NOT TWO
When the Sun experiences a sudden outburst, it amplifies what are known as solar flares and coronal mass ejections, and the resulting electromagnetic radiation causes a lot of damage when it reaches Earth.
Research has revealed that the biggest solar storm ever hit the Earth 14,300 years ago and left evidence of what happened in the trees. Moving forward 14 thousand years, scientists can use these ancient tree rings to partially reconstruct what happened during the solar event. The research team came together from the College de France, CEREGE, IMBE, Aix-Marseille University and the University of Leeds. Their mission is to examine ancient trees found on the banks of the Drouzet River near Gap in the Southern French Alps.
THE NINTH STORM IN THE WORLD
Specifically, the scientists compared the radiocarbon spike in these ancient tree rings to measurements of beryllium, an element found in Greenland ice cores that also provides records of ancient solar activity. After analyzing the data obtained, scientists obtained information that a massive solar storm covered the Earth’s atmosphere with wave after wave of energetic particles.
As a result, radiocarbon increases examined in tree rings also emerged. The common giant solar storm of this type is also known as Miyake, and it is the 9th storm to occur on Earth in 15 thousand years.
THE WORLD MAY BE BURIED IN DARKNESS AGAIN
As a result of all these data, researchers reached the possibility that the world may be plunged into darkness once again in the coming years. When this possibility occurs, no one will be able to charge their phones or electronic devices.
