Mammootty and Jyothika starrer Kathal The Core is releasing. Kathal directed by Jio Baby has been garnering rave reviews since its release day.
In an emotional scene between Mammootty and Jyothika in the film, the dialogue called ‘My God’ was a big discussion. Director Jio Baby says that this dialogue was not in the script and was Mammootty’s contribution. Jio Baby said that Mammootty had told him to cut it if he wanted, but he didn’t. He was speaking in an interview given to reporter TV.
‘God’s call is not in the screen play. Mammooka and Jyothika know that Inna is saying all these things. And they are doing it. I have left such a thing in my hands and Mammooka told me to throw it away if I don’t want it. Another shot was taken from the back.
And when I saw that shot, it was okay. I watched it again because it said something that was not written. Mammooka had said that if you don’t want it, delete it, if not, I will reduce the sound and dub it. That being said, we have put it that way. It has come in the first take itself,’ said Jio Baby.
Cathal The Core was released on November 23. The screenplay of the film is written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Scaria. Kathal produced by Mammootty’s company was brought to theaters by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
Kathal is Jyothika’s return to Malayalam after twelve years. Kathal The Core is the seventh film directed by Jio Baby. Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Aku, Josie Sijo and Adarsh Sukumaran played other important roles.
