Culiacán, Sin. -The protection granted to the Vía Familia association against the distribution of textbooks does not have a major impact on education in the state of Sinaloa, assured the Secretary General of the Government Enrique Inzunza Cázares.
Recently, Federal Judge Pedro Jara Venegas ruled in favor of Vía Familia in the protection trial to prevent the distribution of textbooks in basic level public schools in the entity, however this protection does not have major effects, said Inzunza Cázares. .

“The suspension in the amparo trial is premised on the fact that it cannot restore the acts already consummated, it has no restorative effects, the books have already been distributed, therefore the suspension in that sense has no effect,” declared the Secretary General of Government.
He explained that textbooks are a tool for the teacher in the teaching-learning process, and that this will not be affected by the protection that prevents teachers from using said educational materials with the complainants.
“Books are nothing more than support instruments for teachers, in such a way that the decision of federal judges in this regard must be respected, however let’s say that it does not have a greater effect in the case of the complainants, because I understand that there were a certain number, around 30, they should not be forced to use books as support material,” he indicated.
Enrique Inzunza pointed out that classes will continue in accordance with the provisions of the new curriculum, since the protection only applies to the girls and boys for whom the protection was filed.
“The classes will continue under the defined programs, the classes will continue to be given, the only thing that would happen is that they would not be forced to use them as support material, but that is nothing more, support material,” he concluded.
