Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the resulting health and economic crisis, some reforms planned by the government are on hold, such as that of unemployment insurance. This reform was to apply on April 1, but it is still postponed to a later date, when the employment situation allows it.

With the current very difficult context, the government has, moreover, proposed to include in the law a clause of return to a better fortune. The reform will therefore apply “when the economy gets better,” says Julien Cholin.
