Do you have solar panels? You can write a long-term energy contract with many suppliers on your stomach. Should something be done about that?
The vast majority of voters of the Statement of the Day think so: 94 percent. “The exclusion of so many people with solar panels on the roof is shocking. I returned to them three years ago after much insistence from Essent and now I get this as a thank you”, writes a proponent.
“First it was recommended to take solar panels, now that we have all invested a lot of money in them, they are starting to threaten, the big energy giants. Let them (in consultation) ensure that the outdated power grid can handle it”, adds another.
“Investing in green electricity must be permanently rewarded. Also for the less wealthy, who have only now had their turn. A large part of the incentives and subsidies have ended up with those who could have paid for it themselves,” says another proponent.
Opponents are in the minority with 6 percent. “If you don’t have solar panels, you pay for people with panels,” writes someone who voted against.
“Other producers of variable price products also do not get a long-term contract with a fixed price,” adds an opponent.
