Suara.com – The world’s largest automotive factory belongs to Volkswagen, recorded a decline in production in 2021 as a result of the shortage of semiconductor chip supply problems.
Sources at Volkswagen say the Wolfsburg plant has produced just 300,000 vehicles so far this year and that is the lowest production figure since 1958.
In fact, the factory has an average production figure of 780,000 vehicles per year during the last decade and before the pandemic, it is targeted to produce as many as one million units per year.

Volkswagen has said earlier that production figures have fallen by hundreds of thousands of units as a result of a shortage of semiconductor chips.
