The increase in fuel prices is making itself felt again and it does so just before the imminent and official summer holidays.
Although the summer season started more than a month ago, many Italians still haven’t gone on holiday. You know: le vacation Italy officially begin in the month of August and right next to it, petrol and diesel I am increased of price. According to the data reported byEnergy Daily Observatoryorganization managed by Minister of Transportthere is an increase in the cost of fuel.
In fact, both petrol and diesel have become more expensive: we are talking about price increases decided two weeks ago by the operators. According to the Quotidiano Energia, the data communicated by the managers at‘Mimit’s Price Watch updated on last July 16th, show a higher average cost. That of gas in mode self and of 1.865 euros/litre (1.860 in the previous survey); the several brands they have inclusive prices between 1.855 and 1.879 euros/litre (without 1.848 logo).
Instead, the average price of the diesel self is equal to 1.712 euros/litre (compared to 1.704), with le companies of various brands it swings between 1.696 and 1.726 euros/litre (without logo 1.695). Unfortunately, however, things change when it comes to served because, at that point, the cost it’s still higher.
The gas it has an average price practiced and is of 2,000 euros/litre (1.996 the previous figure). THE various brands they have prices between 1.939 and 2.079 euros/litre (no logo 1,900). Instead, the average of diesel served and of 1.852 euros/litre (against 1.845), while le varies company they have average prices included between 1.786 and 1.930 euros/litre (not logo 1,749).
LPG and methane: they too have increased
But not only have petrol and diesel increased, so has the gpl and the methane they have had their upswing. The prices charged for LPG are recorded between 0.715 and 0.737 euro/litre (without logo 0.696). The average price of CNG is between 1,421 e 1,491 (without 1.441 logo). But behind these higher prices there is a reason basically.
We are referring to the current season, i.e. theestate and, more particularly, the hot and unbearable that is making us live. So, the heat also affects fuel prices for our cars. Of course, the heat isn’t the only cause of the rise in prices, but it is contributing.

I power consumptionsalso increased by air conditionershave touched the record of 2023. Lo last July 18 it has come to 58,6 Gw, highest level this year according to data provided by Terna. This figure is very close to the historic high registered in July 2015 and corresponding to 60,5 Gw.
In addition to all this, the increase in the cost of fuel also coincides with the departures for the summer holidays of the Italians. So, it will be a real drain on millions of wallets for those who have decided to leave for the holidays with their own car. Drivers of any type of vehicle will not be at all happy to hear this latest bad news.
