Ammon – The effect of prayer on the individual
Prayer has great effects in the life of the individual, including the following:

Increasing the servant’s relationship with his Lord
God Almighty has blessed the Muslims by providing them with that great connection between man with his weakness and the one great God with his authority and power. And physically and verbally.

Prayer is the servant’s refuge to God. One of the effects of prayer is that it makes a Muslim feel pride and elevation when a person places his forehead and forelock on the ground. To be humiliated and lacking in his Creator, so he is freed from his chains, and declares complete submission to God Almighty, and repeats in the integrity of his heart: (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High).

Atonement of sins and sins
Prayer is an expiation for sins and transgressions; It was stated in the hadith of our Prophet Muhammad – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – that he said: (You saw if a river in the door of one of you will be seduced from him every day five times, will he remain anything from his time? God erases sins through them).

Raising the level of Muslim morals
God Almighty has associated prayer in more than one place in the Holy Qur’an with uprightness of character, and he said: (Prayer prevents indecency and evil).[٤][٥] Prayer builds and straightens the moral and many other aspects, including the intellectual aspect. Where it urges the Muslim to think and contemplate the creation of God Almighty, and the Muslim is keen to adorn himself and perfume and to be in the best suit before God, and other aspects.

Gain peace and stability
Prayer is a means for peace and stability of the soul, and in the order of the Messenger – may God bless him and grant him peace -: (Pray as you have seen me praying); A directive towards patience and not rushing, so that the Muslim learns how to live every moment of his life without haste, and be aware that the whole matter is in the hands of God, and that harm and benefit are in His hand – Glory be to Him – alone.

The impact of prayer on society
The prayer has great effects on the Muslim community, when a Muslim reads a verse: (And bow down with those who bow), and what it contains indications of the importance of congregational prayer obligatory, as in Friday prayers, or a desire for reward, as in the rest of the prayers; This has many different effects on both the individual and society.

Unite the ranks of Muslims and stabilize the hearts of the weak among them
By showing the rituals collectively, just as the commitment of the scholars and the righteous in them is a reason for the weak and the less believing in them to follow in that, and their gathering on all of them from young, old, knowledgeable, ignorant, strong and weak in faith shows the greatness and unity of the religion of Islam, and that the word of God – the Almighty – She is supreme.

Consolidation of faith and the oneness of God in the hearts of Muslims
The call to prayer also has a special impact on the ears of Muslims. It is tantamount to announcing the entry of the time of prayer, and the consolidation of faith in the hearts of Muslims that affirms the meanings of the monotheism of God – the Almighty – and proving the prophecy of our master Muhammad – may God bless him and grant him peace – through the call to prayer and its repetition.

Fading away the differences between Muslims and purifying their hearts
One of the effects is also that the differences between people fade away when the poor line up next to the rich, the official next to the citizen, the white and the black, and they all acknowledge their lack and servitude to God Almighty, and perform it on a daily basis; To consolidate in their souls and the souls of others the unity of this society and this nation.

The stability of the Muslim community in adversity
When Muslims turn towards one qiblah and unite all over the earth in their worship, belief and qiblah, as if they were one body, it is one of the greatest reasons for the steadfastness of a Muslim in adversity.

Strengthening the relations of members of the Muslim community
Prayer increases a Muslim’s confidence in his Lord while perpetuating it, and nourishes the social aspect in Islam’s keenness on congregational prayer and raising its value and reward. Sharia requires Friday prayer for men, and it is only valid in congregation, and from here a Muslim mixes with other Muslims and gets to know them, and unity among them increases.

Characteristics of prayer in Islam
Prayer is the pillar of the religion of Islam, and an essential pillar in it, and it is the first duty after faith in God, and the prayer in which a Muslim humbles himself and makes him humiliated before God and humble to his creation, pushes him to do good and keeps him away from evil, so he is strong in God and dependent on him in all his affairs.

These houses are an important center in the life of a Muslim.
