As announced, Kariņš will discuss the new electricity distribution tariffs with PUK chairman Alda Ozola on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
Also, during the meeting, the validity of the new electricity distribution tariffs and the regulator’s vision of possible tariff changes will be discussed. The Minister of Climate and Energy Raimonds Čudars (JV) has also been invited to the meeting.
It has already been announced that on July 1, the new electricity system service tariffs of the electricity distribution system operator AS “Sadales tīkls” and the transmission system operator AS “Augstsprieguma tīkls” (AST), which were approved by the Public Services Regulatory Commission (SPRK), came into force.
