Due to a delay in its JIFF quota, the staff of the Rugby Club Toulonnais was forced to field a greatly reworked team to challenge Racing 92 in Le Havre, during the 25th day of the Top 14.
Indeed, 20 JIFFs were lined up against the Ile-de-France residents last Saturday.
Unfortunately, the XV de la Rade took a big slap and lost the score without appeal from 43 to 7.
Following this rouste, the Varois will probably not qualify for the final stages.
Let’s now take stock of the JIFF quota for the Top 14 teams at the end of this 25th day.
According to allrugby.com, the RCT has finally passed the 16 JIFF mark.
Here are the JIFF quota averages:
- Toulouse Stadium 20.56
- French Stadium 18.64
- Racing 92 18,4
- ASM Clermont 18,32
- Section Paloise 18.16
- Lyon 17,28
- La Rochelle 17.24
- Bordeaux-Bègles 17.16
- Castres 16.84
- Bayonne 16,36
- Brive 16.28
- Toulon 16,08
- Montpellier 15,8

Against the Union Bordeaux-Bègles, the Rugby Club Toulonnais will have to field at least 16 JIFFs to stay in the nails.
