After the export ban, prices on the stock exchange fell sharply for diesel fuel and gasoline, which has already affected small wholesalers. This was stated on the air of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on the TV channel “Russia-1” Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
“The government has taken extraordinary measures. I believe that this has never happened before, when the export of petroleum products from Russia was banned in full. And this measure is aimed, first of all, at stabilizing the domestic market, at stabilizing prices. We see a positive effect from this measure. Firstly, prices on the stock exchange fell sharply for diesel fuel and gasoline from 16 to 20%, this, in turn, is now being translated into prices for consumers in the small wholesale segment, including for agricultural producers,” Novak said.
Monitoring is carried out daily, the Deputy Prime Minister added.
The journalist posted the comment on his Telegram channel Pavel Zarubin.
