During the days of Eid al-Adha, some people get used to eating a large amount of foods that can increase cholesterol levels in the blood, especially meat, which causes health complications for the patient.

1- Fried foods

Some studies have shown that fried foods, including meat, contain a large amount of cholesterol, because they contain a high percentage of calories and trans fats, and therefore eating them in large quantities increases the chances of developing heart disease, obesity and diabetes.

2-fast food

Fast food is one of the main risk factors for many chronic diseases, including cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, and therefore people who are used to eating fast food constantly are the most vulnerable to high cholesterol in the body, increased belly fat, and poor regulation of blood sugar.

3- Processed meat

Processed meat is the most cholesterol-rich food, and therefore it increases the rates of heart disease and some types of cancer, so it must be completely limited, especially for children.

4- Desserts

Sweets contain a high percentage of cholesterol as a result of they contain many sugars, unhealthy fats, and calories. Therefore, eating them excessively leads to weight gain, high levels of cholesterol in the blood, and heart disease, in addition to a lack of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and healthy fats.
