What are the types of foods?

According to Naji, there are 3 types:

natural food:

It is commonly called fresh, such as fruits, vegetables, meat, chicken and fish, and when these foods are cooked at home in a good way, they are healthy.

processed food:

Mostly factories supervise their work, such as canned tuna, smoked meat, dried fruits, and pickles, and they have health damage if they are over-consumed.

Ultra-processed or processed food:

What are the harms of each type?

The clinical nutrition consultant answers:

• Processed food, if eaten excessively, leads to obesity because it contains high calories and a lot of sugar or salt.

• As for highly processed food, it is the worst in terms of damage, and it should not be consumed, as it causes many dangerous diseases due to the abundance of preservatives and industrial materials in it, and some of them may be carcinogenic if they exceed safe limits.
