Al-Hammadi explained through the “Fifth Eye” program that the huge industrial revolution represented by artificial intelligence has changed the lives of many people very significantly.
He pointed out that the Internet is among the technologies that have ended many jobs, such as that of postmen and messengers, which most agencies and institutions relied on, but today the Internet has come and ended such jobs.
He added: On the other hand, there were a huge number of jobs such as programmer, developer, data analyst, and computer engineer.
He continued: There are many traditional jobs that will disappear, but they will be replaced by more jobs, and this is what happened at Amazon, in 2018, it laid off more than 10,000 employees.
He added: But at the same time, it needed more than 18,000 employees specialized in various fields such as artificial intelligence, programming, and data. Therefore, technical development is true. It will eliminate jobs, but it will change the way people interact and create new jobs that we will see in the future.
