One is, let’s say, where we live, and the other – where we are registered under the EGN. I lived in Australia, but I am a Bulgarian citizen. I will not vote in Bulgaria.

In Varna there is a discrepancy of 50 thousand. Many people have said that they live there, but have not unsubscribed from Shumen and Dobrich. There are 200 thousand of them in Sofia. This was stated to bTV by Stoil Tsitselkov, public adviser to the CEC.

“The classic is active registration, which I’ve been talking about for 30 years. I can talk for another 30 years, but I won’t be alive. If you don’t let someone vote, what if they’re a phantom? We’re not fulfilling our legal obligations. You know, that only 30 days to live somewhere, you have to change your current address. Some don’t do it for 20 years”, Prof. Mihail Konstantinov also pointed out.

He added that the result of the elections is determined by the votes cast, and when they are counted correctly, it does not matter what is written on the ballots.

“We do not have a minimum voter turnout. There may be no lists at all. Those who show up and say they have the right to vote, they determine the mayor. Period,” Konstantinov said.

“The moment we have machine voting, half the people are on one side, the other half are on the other. We are fighting and there is no trust. Let them vote with machines, 41% voted with paper. Let them vote as they want. You have a machine , you have paper,” he added.
