Sunday August 8, 2021, they were very numerous to have come for the first day of the Acadian week which will last until August 15, with the highlight of the Grand Tintamarre on the dike. The festival of Côte de Nacre in the north of Caen, with Courseulles-sur-Mer as the nerve center, is marked by times of tribute to Canadian soldiers originally from Acadia and having landed in Normandy in the summer of 1944, and by more festive moments. Here are some pictures of the inaugural day
The Acadia House is located in the Maison de la Mer. There are exhibitions, information and the ticket office for concerts. It is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m .:
