The Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court ruled that the Constitutional Court’s decision on Enis Berberoğlu, who was dismissed as a deputy, was “within the scope of the appropriateness control” and ruled that there was no room for a retrial. While the decision of the court changed the agenda of Ankara, remarkable posts were made on Twitter in the evening.

Member of the High Court, Prof. Dr. Engin Yıldırım on his Twitter account Constitutional Court shared the photo of his building with the note “Lights are on”. Yıldırım’s sharing was interpreted as a response to the decision of the local court and the discussions that started after the decision.
Yıldırım later said, “When I said lights are on, I mean the light of law, not other lights”, another remarkable post came from the Ministry of Interior after a while. The photographs of the Interior Building were shared on the Ministry’s Twitter account with the note “Our lights never go out”.

We have the right to expect state manners, judge weight and seriousness from someone who is a member of the AYM!
