The IHSG was down 0.74% to 5,063 at the end of session I on Wednesday (16/9), foreign bank shares sold

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) down at the end of trading session I, Wednesday (16/9). IHSG weakened 37.73 points or 0.74% to 5,063.13 at 11.30 WIB on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

All sectoral indexes fell today. The infrastructure sector recorded the deepest decline, namely 1.45%. A mine fell 1.38%. The consumer goods sector was down 0.86%. The financial sector eroded 0.75%. The construction sector fell 0.73%.

The manufacturing sector corrected 0.60%. Miscellaneous industrial sector fell 0.58%. The plantation sector fell 0.43%. The trade and services sector fell 0.13% and the basic industrial sector fell 0.10%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 7.04 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 3.66 trillion. A total of 250 stocks fell. There were 124 stocks higher and 167 stocks flat.

  • PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) -4,94%
  • PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (LANGUAGE) -3,77%
  • PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) -3,65%

Top losers LQ45 until this afternoon are:

  • PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) 6,38%
  • PT Tjiwi Kimia Tbk Paper Factory (TKIM) 5,65%
  • PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) 2,74%

Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp. 537 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 265.1 billion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 46.4 billion, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) IDR 30.5 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases are PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) IDR 4.6 billion, PT BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) Rp 4.2 billion, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) Rp. 3.7 billion.
