The IDF says it has killed another Hezbollah officer

The Israel Defense Forces say a senior Hezbollah official, Nabil Kaouk, was killed in an airstrike late Saturday in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Details: According to the IDF, Kauk was the head of Hezbollah’s “preventive security unit” and a senior member of the terrorist group’s central council.

Kauk was considered close to Hezbollah’s leadership and “was directly involved in preparing terrorist attacks against the state of Israel and its citizens,” the military said.

Last night, fighter jets struck and killed Kauk in the Beirut suburb of Dahie, a known Hezbollah stronghold.

Israeli fighter jets hit dozens of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon overnight, the IDF said.
