The mysterious case dubbed ‘boy in the box’ from six decades ago just solved right now. The boy’s name killed cruelly it was successfully exposed.
Reported by CNN, on Friday (9/12/2022), the “boy in the box” case occurred in Philadelphia, 65 years ago.
On February 25, 1957, a child’s body was found in a box near Susquehanna Street, a wooded area in northeast Philadelphia. The child experienced incredibly cruel horror. This is explained by Captain Jason Smith of the Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit.
“He was badly beaten,” Smith said. “Many bruises were visible on his body. His hair was roughly cut close to the scalp.”
Smith said an autopsy confirmed the boy was between 4 and 6 years old and found he had multiple abrasions, bruises, subdural hemorrhages and a pleural effusion — injuries that are essentially the same as blunt force trauma.
