The ICHH begins a donation campaign in Arguineguín

The town of Arguineguín, in the municipality of Mogán, will have a unit to donate blood from this Monday until next Thursday the 11th

He Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), begins this Monday a blood donation promotion campaign Arguineguin.

The ICHH will install a mobile unit to donate blood from this Monday and until next October 11 in Plaza Pérez Galdós of Arguineguín. You can donate blood 9:30 a 13:15 hours and 16:30 a 20:15 hours. He friday the 11thit will only be active in afternoon schedule.

Requirements to donate blood

The basic requirements to donate blood are be between 18 and 65 years old (up to 60 if it’s your first donation), weigh more than 50 kilosenjoy good general health and not be pregnant.

Where to donate in Gran Canaria

• Provincial headquarters located in the Alfonso XIII street, number 4. You can come from Monday to Friday uninterruptedly from 9:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. In the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
• Annex to Neighborhood health centerfrom Monday to Wednesday in the afternoon. From 5:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and on Thursday and Friday in the morning hours 10:15 am to 1:15 pm.

• Maternal-Child University Hospital of the Canary IslandsMonday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
