The city ice rink opened on Saturday afternoon in the parking lot next to Casalgrande square with a spectacular presentation by the members of the VSD korfball department and some talented young figure skaters. The event’s hostess, Zsófia Kundlya, greeted the large audience, Mayor Csaba Dióssi and municipal representative Márton Juhos, who visited the opening.
After the spectacular presentation of the talented young figure skaters, the members of the VSD korfball section, under the direction of section leader Bandor Nagy, entertained the people of Dunkesi visiting the program held as the opening of the Advent event series with a special ice korfball show.
After the presentations, the general public could take possession of the indoor ice rink, where decorative lighting enhances the sporting experience in the evening.
The ice rink, which opened this afternoon, awaits visitors until January 7. It is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 08:00 to 21:00, on other days from 08:00 to 20:00. The entrance fees are as follows, but the Dunakeszi Card can also be redeemed here:

As our newspaper partner, the Dunakanyar Régió, reported: the opening of the ice rink is the “prelude” of Advent in Dunakesz, the craft vendors are already setting up shop, today you can enjoy delicious mulled wine, flambé, and horn cake… Craft jewelry and craft souvenirs are available on Casalgrande square December 24 until The Advent programs start on December 2nd and add color to the holiday every weekend until the 23rd. Performers, community programs, candle lighting and joint worship are also part of the organization. On Saturdays and Sundays, musical performers, children’s programs and a puppet theater await families.
