The Ibercaja Foundation offers music and a short film competition at Goya Week

Describing, explaining and approaching the work and figure of Francisco de Goya is one of the objectives of the Ibercaja Foundation. As part of this commitment and during the 6th week of Goya Held in Zaragoza until the 25th, the entity launches, together with the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce, the first Filming Goya short film competition, aimed at young people, and will organize the concert ‘Seguidillas y boleras: Seguidillas y boleras: the musical costumbrismo in i surroundings of Goya ‘.

The Filming Goya short film competition is aimed at teenagers and young people between the ages of 14 and 18 interested in professionally shooting a short film as directors and, among other things, in getting to know the Aragonese painter better. The activity includes two previous workshops at the Espacio Joven Ibercaja by Iryna Melnyk Novak, director and producer of the documentary series ‘Spanish Debut’. This practice will include preparatory training in the execution of the screenplay and audiovisual edition. After this first part, the participants will have two days to consult their doubts and start carrying out the works that they will present to the jury.

As part of this Goya Week, the Goya Museum will offer a concert by the Duo Clivis next Saturday, formed by Rubén Larrea (vocals) and Marcos Castrillo (guitar). The recital will address a champion of Seguidillas and bowling alleys with works by Federico Moretti and Fernando Sor.

Along with these activities, the Ibercaja Foundation organized a draw for 15 double tickets take a guided tour of the Goya Museum in Zaragoza which will take place on October 1st.
