One of the most prestigious art organizations in our city for 50 years is undoubtedly the IATI Theater, which over the years has given immigrant and Latino artists the opportunity to explore and spread Latin American culture through theater, dance or music with contemporary and experimental productions. .
Founded in 1968, the IATI Theater is New York’s home to contemporary and experimental Latin American theater artists.
Its theater offering covers a wide range of genres and cultures, and has been recognized with over 100 awards throughout its history.
And this year they are celebrating a special event and progress.

Thursday, October 17: Gala – We celebrate 56 years since our new theater was founded. Everyone is invited!
From Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3: “Now after” – A new experimental work by the Argentinian author Guido Zappacosta, directed by Gerardo Gudiño, by Elías Viñoles.
This fall, in addition to its gala, the IATI Theater will present its Performing Arts Marathon from October 11 to 13, followed by the play “Now After” from November 1 to 3.
