Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Lina Taha’s husband, Essam Al-Sayegh, narrated the story of her drowning along with her companion, Dr. Afaf Felimban, while trying to save two girls from drowning.
He added in an interview on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel: They were both swimming, may God have mercy on them, so they heard the voice of distress from two girls, and indeed they rescued the two girls and took them out on the beach, and with the force of the waves they drowned and drank from the sea water.
He continued, “Dr. Afaf was rescued and the wave “Lina” was swept to the north, and the area was combed by the rescue teams, and there were boats searching for Lina, including Sultan Ibn Al-Marhouma.”
And he continued: Sultan went with the border guards and found Lina, and she was taken to the hospital, and when they got there, they were both dead.
