In Belarus, from August 10, the summer-autumn hunting season for waterfowl (except geese) and marsh game, woodcock, wood pigeon, rock pigeon, flycatcher and pheasant opens. About this reports Ministry of Forestry.
Hunting is permitted during daylight hours:
- by rifle fire from an ambush, from the entrance, from the door of small vessels without an engine or with an inoperable engine. It is allowed to use flat hunting weapons and cartridges full of bullets, and to use hunting dogs, except dogs and hounds;
- a gunless method using birds of prey.
Also, from August 10, there will be a rifle hunt for grouse (animals of any species and age, except for old birds (females lead a brood of young birds) opens). and cartridges loaded with shot, only with a hunting dog (hunting dogs) – tips, spaniels, retrievers Grouse, as a type of regulated game animal, is hunted under a game animal hunting license and hunting permit. for him, the Ministry of Forestry recalled.
The summer-autumn hunting season lasts until December 8.
