The stars of ‘The Hunger Games’ prequel celebrated the end of the actors’ strike on the red carpet in London. On Wednesday, the SAG-AFTRA union reached a tentative agreement with the studios. The aim of the campaign was a higher wage, and that is now happening: this is the largest increase in the last 40 years.
The fifth ‘The Hunger Games’ film had been granted an exemption allowing cast members to promote the film during the strike. “I woke up feeling positive and then I saw the news and I was like, ‘This is a great day,’” said British actor Tom Blyth, who plays young Snow in the new film. “It feels really great. Finally, after so much time, there’s another premiere,” said Josh Andres Rivera, who plays Snow’s friend Sejanus Plinth.
There were only happy faces on the red carpet.
