Careless of the sirens of Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt modder scene continues undaunted to churn out fan-made expansions that promise to expand the fantasy universe of CD Projekt’s roleplaying adventure. The latest project made by fans is the ambitious one Shades of Iron.
The architect of this work is Wolves Workshop, a collective of amateur programmers and developers with a passion for the Strigo who tried to expand the already enormous content offer of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
With Shades of Iron, the amateur writers directed by the modder known as Skydoespoint didn’t want to dent the main story or side missions to focus on adding 125 new enemies, 36 new weapons e 26 sets of armor.
The generous Content Pack draws inspiration from the Assassin’s Creed series, from soulslike video games like Bloodborne and post-apocalyptic titles such as STALKER, with influences from Feudal Japan andMedieval Europe which are reflected in the presence of armor and items of equipment for samurai e cavalieri. Further customizations can be applied to each armor, while for weapons there are special slots with upgrades and additional skills.
At the bottom of the news you will find the link to the NexusMods portal from which you can free download Shades of Iron on PC. Take a look at the images and presentation video of this fan made add-on pack and let us know what you think.
