The León Ortega School of Art present the sample ‘Court Stories’ organized by the AulaDjaque Educational Innovation Program. The collective of students brings together works of photography, ceramic decoration, furniture and products.
With this exhibition they want to highlight some of the results of the work that they have developed last year (in especially difficult conditions). These works, which use the chess and its symbols as a vehicle to explore the field of photographic expression, the ductility of ceramic elaborations, and the originality of the design and construction processes in different materials, and allow us to contemplate the richness of the educational project of the center, which combines both personal autonomy and cooperation in teamwork.
The common thread of it is the photographic exhibition ‘Courtesan Histories’, in which the students of the Higher Cycle of Photography, under the expert direction of Professor Marco Arroyo, has proposed surprising forays into chess in the universe of fashion and catwalk photography.
Other teachers at the center who are integrated into the aulaDjaque program and who undertake a fascinating task are: Eulalia Álvarez, Reme Barragán, Ángeles Crisol, Luis Blas Cuadrado, Fuensanta Domínguez, Alejandro Fedriani, Marga de la Flor, Ana de Hoces, Marcelina Iglesias, Miriam Lorenzo , Mariché Martínez, Maribel Neble, Inmaculada Ramírez, Verónica Reboredo and Eva Romero. The coordinator of the program is José Antonio González.
