The Hang Seng Index, the Hong Kong stock market opened up positive today. Following the direction of the Dow Jones, the New York Stock Exchange closed up on Friday (8 Jan) as investors raved about the release of additional stimulus measures after the new US President Joe Biden said. His stimulus will be worth several trillions of dollars.
Xinhua news agency reported that The Hang Seng Index opened at 28,003.98 points, an increase of 125.76 points or + 0.45%.
