The jurisdictional head of the Universal Vaccination Program, Isela Flores Hinojosa, announced the next dates and the names of the schools that the nursing staff will attend in this first phase; November 30th Secondary School #4 in La Misión, December 1st Secondary School #43 in Chapultepec, December 2nd Telesecundaria #20 in Popular 89 and December 6th at Colegio Ingls.
He said it was very important for teenagers to get the immunization to prevent the disease, as although it is treatable, it goes silent and is related to cervical cancer and other cancers caused by the virus.
For this reason I have invited fathers and mothers of families to remain attentive to the information provided by the schools, in order to give their consent for their daughters to receive the dose.
Finally, Flores Hinojosa reported that 13 and 14-year-old adolescents who do not attend school will also be vaccinated, by presenting the CURP at any health center in the municipality.
