The Xunta advances one more step in the de-escalation. From Friday the hotel business will open until 9:00 p.m. in much of Galicia, and meetings abroad may be of up to six people who do not live together, inside that figure remains at a limit of 4. After analyzing the evolution of the pandemic together with the clinical committee, the Galician government has decided to establish four levels of restrictions and a general framework of measures for the entire community.
General framework for all of Galicia
- The community perimeter closure continues
- Curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Meetings in homes are forbidden
- Meetings between non-cohabitants: 6 people outdoors and 4 indoors
Extreme level of restrictions
It is applied in municipalities with more than 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants
- Hospitality closed
- Meetings of non-cohabitants forbidden
- Perimeter closure of the town hall
Vilardevós, Paradela and Maside are currently in this situation.
High level
City councils between 250 and 500 accumulated incidence cases
- Hospitality: only terraces at 50% occupancy
- Closing of the hotel business at 9:00 p.m.
- Mobility allowed
- Meetings of 6 people not living together outdoors, 4 indoors
Medium level
Municipalities between 150 and 250 accumulated incidence cases
- Hospitality: terraces at 50% capacity and interior at 30%
- Closing of the hotel business at 9:00 p.m.
- Mobility allowed
- Meetings of 6 people not living together outdoors, 4 indoors
There are 14 municipalities in this situation, including the city of A Coruña.
Low level
Municipalities with less than 150 accumulated incidence cases
- Hospitality: terraces at 75% and interior at 50%
- Closing of the hotel business at 9:00 p.m.
- Higher capacity in gyms and cultural activities: 50% of total capacity
- Mobility allowed
- Meetings of 6 people not living together outdoors, 4 indoors
In this situation there are 290 councils, 85% of the population, among them, except A Coruña, all the big cities.
