This is the second large ex-industrial platform sold in the last year after Speedwell announced in December 2021 the acquisition of the Griro platform from the capital.
SIF SPV TWO SA, part of SIF Banat-Crişana Group, became the owner of the land, according to CITR. The appeals were rejected by the Bucharest court and the contract was signed.
Tabogo Property, a company owned by Canadian investor Michael Topolinski, filed an appeal on May 23, 2022 in Bucharest against the auction awarded by SIF Banat-Crişana a week earlier for the Belvedere cigarette factory, for an amount of 33.59 million of Euro.
The building relating to the former tobacco industrialization factory is located in the central-western area of the capital, which includes the Orhideea – Pasajul Basarab perimeter and the surroundings of the Grozăveşti, Petrache Poenaru and Politehnica metro stations. Previously the property belonged to the assets of Interagro SA controlled by Ioan Neculaie, a company undergoing reorganization.
