Billens »The municipalities of Glânoises will take full possession of the hospital site.

“It’s a stage victory”, commented yesterday the Prefect of Glâne Willy Schorderet, who obtained full satisfaction at his request. The one who chairs the Glâne Health Network (RSG) has indeed communicated that the RSG will pay the State an allowance of 1 symbolic franc to acquire the buildings of the Billens hospital site. Just like what had prevailed for the Monney hospital in Châtel-Saint-Denis.

The infrastructure will thus return to the bosom of the Glânois municipalities after ten years in the hands of the Hôpital Fribourgeois – the HFR, which is currently completing its departure from the Glânois site.
