TEL AVIV, KOMPAS.TV – An eye witness reveals the horror that occurred during the tragedy of a Jewish religious festival in Israel.
The tragedy of the Lag B’Omer religious festival at the foot of Mount Meron, Friday (29/4/2021), left at least 44 people dead and hundreds injured.
It is still unknown what caused the tragedy which reportedly trampled dozens of people.

Previously, it was reported that one of the stands that was used collapsed, after many people crammed over it.
Meanwhile, a police source told Haaretz, this tragedy started after one participant slipped and caused others to fall.
An eyewitness named David, who was trying to light a bonfire at that time, revealed that suddenly there were waves of people who came and fell.
