Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned the West not to supply Ukraine with advanced weapons. But apparently this warning did not stop the West from helping Ukraine.
One of them is the British Government which has stated that it will follow the steps of the United States to help Ukraine. This is done by sending long-range missile systems to Ukraine.
The British Ministry of Defense said London was in close coordination with Washington on the delivery of the multi-launch rocket system, known as MLRS, to help Ukraine defend against Russian aggression.
The ministry stated that the M270 launcher, which can strike targets up to 80 kilometers (50 miles) away with precision-guided rockets. This weapon is considered to increase the resilience of Ukraine.
“provides a significant capability upgrade for Ukrainian forces,” he said.
Earlier last week, the United States government announced it would supply Kiev with a high-mobility artillery rocket system, known as HIMARS, which can simultaneously launch multiple precision-guided missiles. HIMARS is superior in range and precision to existing rocket systems in Ukraine.
