Recently, police reports of football hooligans have been piling up. A group of fans is said to have attacked a steward in Pasching (Linz-Land district) on Sunday, who was supposed to make sure no one was passing through a closed residential area. Previously unknown thugs, who were traveling in a total of four cars, are said to have insulted the 29-year-old’s briefcase and threatened to kill him, police reported Monday. Then they threw aside the scissor gates that blocked the road and went on.
