The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index advanced 1.26%, rose 361 points and closed at 29036

Hong Kong Hang Bed Index strengthened 1.26% or 361 points and closed at 29036 on April 8, 2021.

Of the 51 selected large companies that are members of the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index component, 24 suffered losses, while 25 other stocks managed to book gains.

Tencent Holdings recorded the biggest loss as its share price fell 1.51%.
