There is no doubt that Swedish Maria Montazami (57) enjoys a life of luxury.
The 57-year-old, who is currently competing in the cooking competition “Camp Kulinaris” in this country, has opened the doors to her exclusive home in Los Angeles – where she has lived all her adult life – through the TV series “Swedish Hollywood Wives”.

In the TV series, viewers have been able to follow Montazami’s glamorous everyday life, where she likes to have a glass of wine every now and then. Over the years, she continued her joy for wine into a separate project – and in 2013 Montazami launched her own wine range.
The wine range consisted of white wine, rosé wine, red wine and sparkling wine, and Norwegian Montazami fans happily traveled across the border to secure the bottles from Systembolaget in Sweden.
But suddenly the Montazami wine disappeared from the shelves, and now the Hollywood lady explains why.
The wine partner died
Montazami tells Nettavisen that there is a sad reason why the wine is no longer produced.
– The man I worked with on the wine series died, she says.
– So then we thought that then we will shut down everything. That time is now over, adds the TV current Hollywood wife.
She looks back on her time as a wine producer as exciting.
– It was very fun to make my own wine, and it tasted good and sold well. But now it’s over, she says.

Now that the wine project is over, Maria Montazami is focusing on other projects. Among other things, the crockery she has designed for Fyrklovern. The crockery consists of everything from plates and serving platters to glasses and vases, and is also sold here in Norway.
Busy everyday life
Although she is no longer active in the wine industry, Montazami has more than enough to keep her hands busy. As mentioned, she has her own design series, in addition to being seen on TV both here in Sweden and in her native Sweden .

In Sweden, she has recently participated in both “Fangene på fortet” and “Over Atlanteren”, while here she is current with “Camp Kulinaris”, where she will soon enter as a challenger.
In front of Nettavisen, the 57-year-old is almost ecstatic when she talks about the participation.
– I had a wonderful time at “Camp Culinaris”, she beams.
– I was received very well, and had such a good time with the other participants. We ate breakfast together and cycled to the restaurant, where I got a chef’s jacket and my own knife with my name engraved on it. I am very proud of that knife, and still use it. It was a great experience, says Montazami, who is very positive about several future TV assignments in Norway:
– I love Norway, and would love to come back several times.
