Elton John concluded his farewell tour in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday evening. The 76-year-old singer has given more than 4,500 performances in about eighty countries in more than fifty years.
After the last leg of his farewell tour, John took the time to thank his fans. “It has been my everything to be able to play for you, you are fantastic. It was fun,” he told the audience in Sweden.
Of Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour consisted of 330 shows. In 2018 he started his farewell tour. In 2019 there were also concerts in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and in 2021 in the GelreDome in Arnhem.
Although the singer has finished touring, he does not rule out being on stage again. “I’ll maybe do another one-time thing,” says the artist.
John’s farewell tour is the first tour in history to break the $900 million mark in revenue, music magazine reported Billboard earlier.
