The Cathedral of the Holy Savior in Shushu, Nagorno-Karabakh, was seriously damaged by the firing of Azerbaijani forces, Armenia announced on Thursday. Reporters from the AFP news agency noted that the cathedral had been badly damaged. It has already been reported that at least 300 people, including 48 civilians, have died in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict since the resumption of intense fighting on September 27. The Cathedral of the Holy Savior in Shusha is an important church of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The collapsed part of the metal roof of the church, which has fallen on the outside, damaged walls, the floor is sprinkled with rubble and the whole interior is covered with dust. The Armenian Ministry of Defense has accused Azerbaijan of shooting the cathedral.
