According to a police officer at a press conference held on Wednesday, the 22-year-old considered a new attack after he fired several shots at a July 4 parade.
– What has emerged in the interviews is that while he was driving and came across the parade, he considered carrying out several attacks.
– He planned the shooting Highland Park shooting for several weeks, the police officer said.
Reuters reported that there were eight killed as a result of the mass shooting. This later turned out not to be the case. Seven people have been confirmed dead.
