The games that fill excellence, or at least those that we have been able to analyze
This year 2020 has certainly been weird. Pandemic, quarantines and uncertainty in all areas. However, there is something that is always capable of bringing us joy and distancing us from reality, no matter how hard it is. I’m talking about video games, audiovisual entertainment that brings us thousands of adventures every year. For this reason, this year, we have decided to search for the 5 games with the highest scores in our analysis to recommend such proposals. You may have already played more than one, but if not, here are 5 great recommendations.
5- Call of the Sea [9.2]
Out of the Blue has presented its first game with fantastic results. As you can read in Rios’s analysis, Call of the Sea offers adventure, suspense and a lot of Lovecraft on a lost island.
4- Gears Tactics [9.3]
Loli had her good share of Gears this year. However, who knew that a tactical RPG would suit one of Microsoft’s flagship franchises so well. You can better know the proposal in the analysis of the web.
3- Ori and the Will of the Wisps [9.4]
Second parts were never good … well, every rule has its exception. The sequel to the acclaimed Moon Studios work even improves on the original formula and brings us the pinnacle. In this round of the saga, Mario gave us a fantastic analysis of a fantastic game.
2- Undermine [9.5]
Exploration, adventure and dungeon; simple bars that always meet. Undermine knows how to bring the best of the genre to our Xbox One, that is why it has reached second place (shared), thanks to Loli’s analysis.
2- Yakuza Like a Dragon [9.5]
Yakuza is a saga with tradition. It is difficult to change all the mechanics and main cast of a franchise without having a disaster. However, Yakuza 7 manages to keep the type (and what type!) With its new protagonist and mechanics of the JRPG. We miss the analysis of Rios.
1- DOOM Eternal [9.7]
Only one game could reach number 1. DOOM Eternal manages to bring all the violence, frenzy and spectacularity once again. Not only does it outperform its predecessor, it also brings new mechanics, more exploration, and even a coherent story to follow. Long live the Doom Slayer! By forging this top we have left great games that have gotten a 9, or more, in our reviews. Among them we can highlight magnificent works such as Yakuza Zero, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Immortals Fenyx Rising, even Cyberpunk 2077 managed to reach high levels. So that, We can only toast for another year as fantastic (at least) as this in the world of video games.
