Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S23 series is said to launch in early February. Not a few believe that there will be three models to be launched by Samsung namely the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus and the top model is the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
So far, many details about the device have surfaced online in the form of leaks, certifications and benchmarks. One of the Galaxy S23 Ultra benchmarks previously revealed that the device will be powered by the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Now another benchmark listing has surfaced on Geekbench revealing the highest RAM variant. The Galaxy S23 Ultra appearing on Geekbench has the model number SM-S918B and is equipped with an Octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with a clock speed of the main CPU core (Cortex-X3) reaching 3.36 GHz.
The device is also said to have 12GB of RAM which happens to be the flagship variant of the Galaxy S23 Ultra model. Geekbench also noted that this flagship smartphone made by Samsung scores 1,495 points for single-core CPU performance and 4,647 points for multi-core.
One thing to note is that the multi-core score of this device is lower than other devices equipped with the same chipset. Unfortunately, Geekbench hasn’t revealed any more details about the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Earlier, TENAA revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels and 16.7M colors. There are two RAM options that will be provided by Samsung namely 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM.
Meanwhile, a number of rumors indicate that Samsung will likely no longer provide the Galaxy S23 Ultra with 128GB internal storage capacity, instead providing options of 256GB, 512GB, and the highest is 1TB.
Not a few also believe that Samsung will equip this smartphone with support for a 108MP camera using its own ISOCELL HM3 sensor. Other camera modules are a 12MP telephoto lens, a 12MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP sensor. At the front there will be a 12MP camera.
