The National Airports Office reported that Marrakech-Menara International Airport recorded, as of the end of February 2023, a commercial volume of traffic with 1,072,886 passengers.
In its latest tally on commercial air traffic, the office stated that this volume represents a recovery rate of 114 percent, compared to the same period in 2019 (940,564 passengers).
He added that Marrakech-Menara Airport recorded, for the month of February alone, a recovery rate of 115 percent, as it received 546,849 passengers, compared to 475,969 passengers during the same period in 2019.
During the month of February, Moroccan airports received 1,871,095 passengers, a growth rate of 11 percent, compared to the same month of 2019.
According to the National Airports Office, Moroccan airports recorded 14,432 flights last February, which represents an estimated recovery rate of 98 percent for aircraft traffic compared to the same period in 2019.
The office indicated that the domestic air traffic recorded 179,406 passengers during the month of February, with an estimated recovery rate of 93 percent compared to the same period in 2019, while the international air transport movement registered 1,691,689 passengers during the same month, which represents a growth rate estimated at 13 percent compared to February 2019.
